Since early childhood, my life has been surrounded by artistic expression. My father, a 40 year professor of art at the South Dakota University, would instill my lifelong passion to display my artistic expression of life, thoughts, and dreams, through the work of my hands.

This airbrush painting (Derek Amato – “Notes between Thoughts” was designed specifically for the Reality Rally Charity of the Stars auction. This is the original, and only one will be produced. The painting is designed with reclaimed products from Derek’s home town of Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Panel: file divider from Avera Medical Center. Inner frame: maple floor scraps. Outer frame: 2×4 from a 100 yr old house, making this truly a “one of a kind” for any collection!
